Thank you Jim and Erik for teaching the Cub Scouts about wildlife management at the Mass Wildlife HQ right here in town! Scouts visited the indoor trout pond, rooms full of stuffed creatures, the lab, and even met a couple fresh-caught beaver.
We followed up on the tour with a very muddy, very awesome hike. The high water level of the Assabet was a great lesson on the effects of the recent precipitation. Who knew hiking after a few inches of rainfall could be so much fun?!
